Native screenshot functionality demonstrated in Windows Phone 8 SDK emulator
We've previously reported that Windows Telephone eight should be bringing native screenshot functionality to the masses. The function was rumored to work by holding the Start cardinal and the Camera button at the same time and sure enough, that combo works in the Windows Phone 8 emulator from the leaked SDK.
The Windows Phone 7.v (seven.1 SDK) emulator did have native screenshot functionality for developers to take screenshots of their apps just it was not native to the Bone itself. At first nosotros were a bit cautious that this may be that part but seeing as this is enabled past simulating the Commencement-Camera combo (F7 + F2 keys) it seems similar this is the real deal for regular users as evidence past the video fabricated by WP7app.de. We take non been able to verify this ourselves yet, so we'll leave a trivial wiggle room in case information technology proves otherwise.
Native screenshot ability will be a much appreciated feature for developers who tin more easily share shots of their app, consumers who want to report bugs or share moments on Windows Phone with friends and even viral-marketing. That concluding 1 may not seem obvious but the more screenshots of Windows Phone float effectually on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit etc., the more the Os will resonate with the masses.
In Windows Phone 7.x the only way to exercise screenshots was to accept a programmer unlocked device and to load a 'homebrew' solution. While constructive, such an app was limited to developers only and not regular consumers.
Head past the interruption to meet the video of the screenshot part in action...

Nighttime thrills
Dying Light ii review: Going quietly into the night
Dying Light 2 is an admirable attempt from Techland, following up the original game seven years later. High-stakes nighttime play elevates what might have otherwise been a fairly forgettable open up-world zombie moving-picture show, which will likely find itself a addicted place among fans of games with co-op sandbox mayhem.
